Meet the Winemakers: Madrona Bay
Join us for a special Meet the Winemaker tasting with James and Pearce Stickney, brothers, sommeliers, and founders of Madrona Bay.

Their path into wine was anything but ordinary. James studied microbiology and statistics at the University of Washington, while Pearce built leadership experience managing Starbucks stores throughout Washington. Together, they earned their Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diplomas in 2019 and have been deeply involved in the Washington wine industry ever since.

Madrona Bay and Raidho wines are shaped by the balance between art and science—a thoughtful reflection of curiosity, precision, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. For James and Pearce, wine is more than a beverage. It is an academic pursuit, a creative expression, and a way to translate sunlight, soil, and weather into something meaningful to share.
