August at Vino: Women Winemakers of the PNW
This August, our Thursday Night Wine Tastings are dedicated to the talented women winemakers shaping the Pacific Northwest wine scene — beginning with Damsel Cellars and winemaker/owner Mari Womack.
Mari’s wine journey began in Seattle restaurants, where food and wine pairings sparked her passion. She later became part of the Woodinville wine community, working in tasting rooms, volunteering during harvest, and eventually becoming assistant winemaker at Darby Winery before building Damsel Cellars into a winery with a loyal following.
Damsel’s wines are expressive, thoughtful, and made with a deep respect for the ritual and romance of wine. From beautifully crafted reds to elegant whites, each glass tells a story of passion, place, and Pacific Northwest craftsmanship. Their current releases include reds, whites, and a Mythology Series, giving guests a chance to explore a range of styles from this Woodinville winery.
