Menu

πŸ₯‚ Grenache Blanc ($25 bottle, $11 glass) 100% Grenache Blanc from Boushey Vineyard. When Morgan decided to make a white in 2010, he was looking for something truly unique. He was able to work with Dick Boushey to get this Grenache Blanc fruit, which was previously allocated to McCrae Winery, a pioneer in Washington state Rhone varietals. A gorgeous white that will win you over with expressive citrus, melon, and floral notes with vivid stone fruit on the palate backed by lean acidity. πŸ‹πŸˆπŸŒΈπŸ‘ Paired with: Arugula salad, pears, prosciutto, burrata cheese, pine nuts, champagne & shallot vinaigrette.

🍷 Claire Grenache ($50 bottle, $18 glass) Named after Morgan’s daughter. Sourced from the Boushey Vineyard. Great red florals combine with Mandarin orange peel, red currants, and freshly tilled salty soils. The palate is plush and elegant, loaded with juicy red fruits and mouth-watering acidity. 35-40% whole cluster fermented, enjoy this beauty now and over the next decade. πŸŒΉπŸŠπŸ‡πŸŒΏ Paired with: Personal charcuterie board

πŸ‡ Some Days Are Stones Syrah ($55 bottle) This Syrah comes from two acclaimed vineyards in the Rocks District; the famed Stoney Vine Vineyard as well as the Stones Speak Vineyard, farmed by Rich Funk. This is marvelously stony on the nose with great Umami character alongside hoisin sauce, roasted duck, and chocolate tones. The palate is rich and refined with a silky texture and great flavor range. πŸ·πŸ«πŸ¦† Paired with: Black garlic chicken, rice noodles, green onion, sesame seeds. Served chilled.

πŸ‡ Red Zinfandel ($35 bottle, $15 glass) The gorgeous 2022 Zinfandel comes from the Stone Tree Vineyard in the Wahluke Slope AVA and has 16% Petite Sirah blended in. This is dense and concentrated stuff that is downright delicious in its bright acidity, brilliant core of black fruits, and chocolate notes. Full-bodied and showing beautiful finesse, this is one of the great examples of Washington Zin that you will find. πŸ‡πŸ·πŸ« Paired with: Pork belly burnt ends, homemade BBQ sauce, jalapeno white cheddar mac & cheese

🍷 Sal Cabernet Sauvignon ($55 bottle) It comes from the Discovery Vineyard and has Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot blended in. Showing off its soft texture, this is a wonderfully herbal offering medium-bodied dark cherry and mocha flavors that meld well with a graphite edge. Well-structured, enjoy over the next decade. πŸ’πŸ«πŸ· Paired with: Sweet Nothings Black Forest Brownie

LET’S GET into the details

During Morgan’s second vintage as assistant winemaker for Covington Cellars, he asked if he could produce a Merlot and Syrah, as the Lawson’s did not have those in their Covington portfolio.
Their response was that those varietals did not fit with the Covington Cellars story, but they would happily invest in Morgan starting his own brand where he could have full artistic control.
Thus, Two Vintners was born in 2007.
The name Two Vintners came from the collaboration between Morgan and David and Cindy Lawson. The brand launched when Morgan was 29 years old and had no winemaking education.
Fortunately, it worked out.

BUCKING THE TRENDS
Seventeen years later, we still thrive on making unexpected wines in Washington State. Morgan has a passion for making wines that make people think.
Wines that are equally delicious and thought provoking by using different varietals and winemaking techniques.
He takes a very artistic approach to the craft and aims to keep the wines beautiful, delicious, and accessible to everyone

THE FUTURE
"It’s been a gift to be a part of the fabric of Washington winemaking. We aim to make some of the very best wines on planet Earth for decades to come, while keeping Two Vintners welcoming, unpretentious and fun. Wine is fun and it should be fun for everyone who experiences it. I believe there is no room for pretension in this industry.
Who says you can't be classy and have a great time all at once?”
- Morgan Lee
